Accessibility

Simplyclose Law Professional Corporation is committed to making our legal services and this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we serve clients across Ontario.

Our commitment

We are committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity, and we work to identify and remove barriers to accessibility across our services, our communications, and our digital presence.

Standards we follow

We design and maintain this website with the goal of meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. As an Ontario business, we also work to meet our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, including the standards for information and communications and for customer service.

What we have done

  • Structured pages with clear, consistent headings and landmarks.
  • Provided text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Built keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Chosen colours and type sizes with readability and contrast in mind.
  • Offered remote signings and flexible communication so clients can work with us in the way that suits them best.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We review our website and our practices regularly and make improvements as standards evolve and as we receive feedback. Some older documents or third-party tools embedded in our site may not yet fully meet our target standard, and we are working to address these.

Accessible formats and communication supports

If you need information from this website or about our services in an accessible format, or if you require a communication support, let us know. We will work with you to provide the information in a way that meets your needs, at no additional cost, and in a timely manner.
